The Challenger Division of Little League Baseball is a program that gives intellectual and/or physically challenged boys and girls the chance to enjoy playing the game of baseball. Players participate in an athletic environment that is structured to their abili-ties. This allows them to enjoy the game of baseball along with millions of other chil-dren who participate in the sport worldwide. Located in Ashburn, Dulles Little League (DLL) provides this opportunity for Loudoun County residents.

A player can no longer age out of this pro-gram! However, a player must be 5 years old to start in the Challengers. More than the skills of baseball are learned through this ex-perience. The value of the therapeutic, sociali-zation, and self-esteem are other benefits too. DLL provides the Challengers with league shirts, equipment, and wheelchair accessible fields to play on. All photos are players from the Dulles Little League Challenger (DLLC) program. It’s a Blast, so come out and join us.
